MEASURING Pupillary Distance
For perfect vision, it is extremely important that the optical center of the lenses is directly in front of the eye. The magic word for this is PD/pupillary distance! This is the distance between the center of the nose and the center of the pupil, for the right and left eye. Sometimes it is also given as a value, in which case it is the distance between the right and left pupils. You will find the glasses snake in the fitting box. Simply place it centered on the child's nose. The person measuring sits opposite each other about an arm's length away and you look deeply into each other's eyes. Now measure the eye directly opposite and write down the value. Important: left measures right and vice versa. If you need help, just write to us.
